Training course: CLP labelling of chemicals
All substances & mixtures supplied in the EU must be classified and labelled according to regulation EU 1272/2008 (CLP). Besides a training course in which we focus on CLP classification rules (Classification & labelling of mixtures according to CLP) we developed a course focussing on just CLP labelling.
Based on our background at the Dutch REACH & CLP helpdesk and the industry we developed a 1/2-day training course: CLP labelling of chemicals:
- introduction to CLP (roles en duties)
- label requirements and exemptions (sizes, mandatory information & fold-out labels)
- how to choose appropriate precautionary (P) phrases
- practicing/ solving labelling cases
The course is aimed at anyone with a role in CLP hazard labelling based on the CLP classification of the product (formulators/ mixture suppliers, inspectors, Quality Control).
Note that CLP classification rules are not part of this course (check: Classification & labelling of mixtures according to CLP).
