Training course SCIP notification in IUCLID
EU chemicals legislation REACH requires suppliers of articles to among others inform customers about Substances of Very High Concern on the Candidate list if those substances are present in an article over 0.1% w/w.
The EU Waste Framework Directive adds for these articles a notification duty to the SCIP database for all (EU) B2B suppliers.

Without product compliance software that allows for system-to-system notifications, manual notification via IUCLID and the ECHA submission portal is needed.
Since IUCLID is not the most intuitive user friendly software, many notifiers struggle with their SCIP notification.
We therefore developed a practical ½-day training course that guides you through IUCLID:
- introduction to the SCIP notification duty
- SCIP-notification using IUCLID (creating an article and entering data)
- validation check, creation and submission of the SCIP dossier.
The training is aimed at anyone that has to notify products/ articles to the SCIP database.
